Marie Gleeson launched her book Be Like The Sea in Cashel Library on Friday evening. Surrounded by many family and friends Marie spoke to Today FMs Cathal Minogue about her book, her early childhood influences and how a girl from a farm ended up with a career at sea in the navy. Cathal also spoke to past teacher Chris Hayes, Eleanor Dwyer, Marie’s Uncle Michael and her dad Noel for some childhood memories that paved Marie’s career. We wish Marie every success with her book it is an inspiring story of an amazing journey of life in the navy.
