Best known for his role as a psychotherapist on RTE’s “Raised by the Village” where teens addicted to their phones are relocated to a rural, phoneless environment, Richard Hogan is also the author of “Home is Where the Start is” and “Parenting the Screenager”, books that provide a framework for families finding it difficult to navigate today’s digital world and establish a healthy balance between life and mobile technologies.

Tipperary County Council Library Service is delighted to welcome Richard to Thurles in his role as an “Ireland Reads” ambassador to give a talk about this subject. His expertise and insights will prove truly invaluable to those experiencing issues with phones and apps and the consequences of having unhealthy relationships with both.
