Cruinniú na nÓg, Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people, takes place on Saturday the 13th of June. Tipperary County Council Library Service, supported by the Tipperary Creative Ireland programme, will host a day of fun, free and creative activities for all ages. Listen to some stories, learn how to dance or juggle, use science to make your own ice cream, or get creative with our arts and crafts, and shadow puppet workshops. There is something for everyone. All our events this year are available online, so you can take part from the comfort of your own home. Get online and get creative!
These events are supported by the Tipperary Creative Ireland programme.
Cruinniú na nÓg is a Creative Ireland Programme initiative of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, supported by your local authority and RTÉ.

Music Generation Tipperary

From 5pm

MG Tipperary is delighted to present this introduction to recording and sharing music at home using free apps on your phone, computer or tablet. During the pre-recorded ‘how to’ video, MG Tipperary Music Development officer Aidan O’Donnell will bring you through a simple step by step process and show his method of how to make an arrangement of your song or tune. This is aimed at teenagers, but any apps suggested in the tutorial should be only downloaded with parental consent. At a time when we’re are all isolated, this is a unique way to keep creativity going, and allow us to share our ideas and collaborate with others.

Music Generation Tipperary is not responsible for the content created by those who watch the tutorial.
