Reading Activities:
Quiz of the Week with Prizes: Test your knowledge every week and win prizes for participating throughout July and August.
“Create Your Story?”: Unleash your creativity by crafting your own story with characters and speech bubbles. All entries are automatically entered into our Monthly Draw Prize.
“Be a Summer Star” Colouring Sheets: Colour these sheets and enter them into a draw for a chance to win a prize.
Ongoing “Crafty Colouring” for Little Ones: Perfect for younger children to develop their artistic skills.
Online Events:
Facebook Bedtime Stories: Cosy up and listen to bedtime stories every Friday night at 7pm on Facebook.
Library Events:
Weekly Storytime: Join us for story time every Thursday at 11.15am at the library.
Nenagh Lego Club (Second Wednesday of the Month): Build your creations with Lego at the Nenagh Library on the second Wednesday of each month at 3.30pm.
Summer Fun:
July Movie Club (Every Tuesday): Catch a movie every Tuesday afternoon from 3pm to 5pm in July.
Treasure Hunt (4th July): A fun adventure for the whole family on the 4th of July!
Fantastic! Roald Dahl STEAM Workshop: Create Your Own Lava Lamp! NB (ages 7 to 10 years only)
Calling all budding inventors and Roald Dahl fans!
Join Christine for a bubbling good time at our Roald Dahl themed STEAM workshop on Wednesday, June 5th from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM.
In this workshop, you’ll get to:
- Unleash your inner Willy Wonka and create your very own mesmerizing lava lamp! ✨
- Explore the science behind the magic with fun, hands-on activities.
- Learn fascinating facts about the wonderful world of Roald Dahl’s stories.
Spaces are limited, so booking is essential! Don’t miss out on this chance to get creative and have some scientific fun.
Summer Craft Club (17th July & 21st August at 10.30am): Learn new crafts at the Summer Craft Club on the 17th of July and 21st of August.
8th August 2024 we have an Art Class on Manga Comics with Author / Illustrator John Carpenter @ 2.30 PM – 3.45 PM. Booking Essential. NB (ages 9 to 14 years only)
Library Scavenger Hunt (12th August): Explore the library with a scavenger hunt on the 12th of August.
This is a fantastic program with so many activities to keep children engaged and entertained throughout the summer. With reading quizzes, creative writing, colouring, story times, and even movie afternoons, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to check with Nenagh library for more details.
