Throughout the path of life Tommy Treacy has journeyed on, hurling has always played a hugely important role. His passion for the game of hurling, and in particular Tipp hurling, inspired Tommy to write his book “The Life and Times of a Tipperary Hurling Supporter”. For this event in Clonmel Library Tommy will talk about his book, his experiences as a lover of Tipperary hurling and his life.
Tommy Treacy, who currently lectures at Griffith College Cork and Limerick, ministered for a period of time as a Deacon in the Dioceses of Cork & Ross and Waterford & Lismore.
